Select the pencil button to activate coloring mode.For each grid size you accumulate a total game score across the 24 levels.You can replay any of the levels you’ve unlocked to try to improve your score on it.Only the first levels are playable at the start. The game’s grid sizes range from 4 x 4 to 16 x 16.A pair of numbers indicate 2 groups of shaded squares, with at least one blank square between them.The number on the sides indicate the number of shaded squares in a row or column.Using the numbers on the top and left sides of the grid, find out the location of the shaded squares.At the bottom center of the screen there is a toggle button to switch between using the orange pencil on cells you are coloring in and the blue X on cells which should not be colored in.When it is clicked it offers the following options: close menu, exit game, turn game sound on or off, switch to fullscreen mode, and restart level. In the upper right corner there is a settings button which expands a menu when clicked.

The top center of the screen shows your current level and how many hearts (or potential wrong answers you can make) remaining.Tap on the screen with your fingers to mark the cell.Left click with your mouse to mark a cell.Your web browser automatically saves your game progress including which levels you have completed and your score on each level.Select the X button on the top right corner to skip the tutorial.

The game will begin with a brief tutorial on how nonograms work.

On the welcome screen, select the play button below the title of the game to begin.
